Dining Room Redone

DSCF1100.JPG Originally uploaded by Jason Kohles.
I took a few quick shots of the living room, dining room, and down our extremely short hallway. I painted the bookshelf under the bar area white, it used to be a dark chestnut brown. The walls of the dining room used to be the same color as the living room (which made the place feel like a cave - see if you can find the cave dweller in the one living room picture I took) Also notice the entertainment center . . . not the most flattering image of it but it is really nice. So now the walls are a pale butter yellow and the kitchen is a blue/green which is really calming compared to the color it used to be (also a cave-like feel). Notice the floor in the kitchen? Jason helped me finish it off. It looks a lot better than the nicotine-stained yellow colored flooring from before. There is also a shot of the ghetto cabinets - check it out. Notice anything missing? Hopefully in the near future we will have new pictures to share of the white cabinet doors and drawers that we will be refacing them with. Eventually we will be replacing the rug as well. I also took a picture of the new light fixture. Jason and I really like it, it helps to lighten up the whole condo. No more cave! Notice the theme? Little Italian Chefs - everywhere. There is also a touch of clutter. :) And there is more of my artwork hanging in the hallway - a watercolor basic study of a crane. You may remember seeing my artwork hanging in our newly remodled bathroom? So even though we are not moving for another 6 months or so, we now have plenty of time to make the place more profitable. I told Jason before he moved in that the place was tiny. :)
