Special Visitors

Abby got to meet Uncle Brian and Megan this past week - and are now officially going to be refered to as UB and Auntie Megan. (hi you two!) As far as we can tell they had quite a fun time while they were here. Abby is quite addictive as they soon found out. UB actually didn't pass out while changing the Boo's diaper! But we caught the whole experience on video footage so send your requests for viewings to us, no children were embarased in the making of this video just UB! Ok just kidding we won't share that - for now. :)

So as predicted many photos were taken and we hope to update those soon for you all to see. I am seriously contemplating making the photos page on smugmug more secure so that only those folks that Jason and I designate will have access. So comment below if you want to have rights to view the kiddo.

Now Abby is just really looking forward to seeing Grandma June in December. The Boo's 4 month check up is scheduled for early December, so once Grandma June arrives she can kiss all the booboos from vacinations bye bye and make it all better.

Jason and I got some good footge of Abby cooing/laughing yesterday as well as some good photos of her sitting up and laying on my leg. She also slept a lot and for good reason. She had quite an evening with an upset tummy. She cried like I have never heard her cry before. It practically ripped my heart out. But all is well now and she is doing much better.

Abby says, "gaaah. hehee goohaha!" UB and Auntie Megan. We had a great time getting to know you both. Take Care.

Ginger's New Job Update

I have really been enjoying my new job. So far I have gone to printers to set up proposals for print jobs. Edited the website (which IMHO is in need of a complete overhaul). Created some Ads. Trouble shot the website. Layed out an article for the NovDec Issue of Infusion Magazine. Worked on weekly updates of the eNews publication. And in short become busier than I have ever been in a job in my entire life to date (I have been working for 10 years). I have learned numerous things in the short amount of time that I have been working in my new job and I am absolutely LOVING IT! It has its stressful moments, but by far fewer than my last job where the lack of work had me wanting to rip my hair out every moment. I learn much better by doing.
Jason is now taking this opportunity to follow in my foot steps. Funny thing is that I replaced a guy named Jason and sometimes am refered to as the "New Jason" which cracks me up!
So in short that is my update. I am really looking forward to going to the conference in February it is going to be held Here! This means my busy schedule is only going to get busier!!! w00t!

Just Over Two Months and the Stats Are In

Abby is now 13 pounds 1 oz, and 24 inches (2 feet tall) with a head measurement of 16.25 inches. She got her first round of vaccinations yesterday and handled them very well. She even got an oral vaccination for the RotoVirus. She is a very content and happy baby smiling a lot to boot. She has more hair down the middle of her head than on the sides so I sometimes refer to her as Mo' short for Mohawk. And she likes to Scoot around when we lay her down to sleep so sometimes I call her Scooter Boo. She has gotten very good at holding her head up and standing with assistance. I must admit that we haven't taken any pictures of her in about a month and it makes me feel like a bad mom, but she has quite a life ahead of her and many more interesting photo ops like the first day of school or Prom.
Brian & Megan are coming in to town in the near future and will be bringing their camera so the third month will get documented pretty well.
Abby has been going to daycare for a few weeks now and seems to be just fine (for now) with the arrangement. She has even been sleeping about 5-7 hour stretches at night, which is a relief. Abby has discovered that her hand goes well in her mouth, yum!
