Stuff & Kids

Within the last week (give or take a few days) not once but twice I have gotten into a vehicle that I intended to drive and it's battery was dead. Both times I had a destination where someone was expecting me post haste. Both times I was bringing the kids with me and both times I wanted to scream but maintained a semblance of composure. Luckily that is all with the cars. There was no huge cost involved. But watching the Economy slide has been causing me to get really freaked out about my financial situation. I chose (for now anyways) to ignore the imminent doom of the world issue. If only to keep what little sanity I have left.

The kids are doing well. Abby has almost mastered the ABC's and is doing well with learning numbers, colors, and shapes. Our days are filled with Elmo (over and over again) and/or the Playground. When Jason can join us Abby enjoys Lil' Kickers Soccer where she can't get enough of the kicking and "soccer balls!" and tumbling at The Little Gym. We get frequent request for swimming. And at some point I hope to accomodate her. (Seeing as how I taught swim lessons for about 6 years you'd think I would be jumping at the possibility. . . but it isn't as easy with an infant AND a toddler. Luckily she LOVES bath time). She adores her "The Morgan" and is a great big sister. Morgan is now just a bit over 9 weeks old (holy cow the time it does fly) and has been sleeping through the night for almost a month. He is starting to be more awake during the day which helps for the sleeping at night. Morgan's 2 month check up came and went smashingly. He is now two feet tall, 13 pounds (and change), and HC of 16 inches. Still on Hypoallergenic formula. Still refluxerific. Oh and he is slowly starting to get talkative.

That's about all that's going on right now.
